Meet the Dentists
Dr. Lucas Sandman is originally from Dickinson, ND. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota in 2007 and received his doctoral degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. Following his graduation in 2011, he joined Dr. Michael Joyce and Dr. Charles Klemz at Insight Dental. He is passionate about continuing education. This post graduate education is heavily rooted in Spear Education, The Pankey Institute, and Cerec Doctors. He is dedicated to continued growth and learning throughout his career while implementing state of the art technology and techniques.
Dr. Sandman and his wife, Jenna, have two children Evan and Avery. His personal interests and hobbies include fishing, golfing, skiing, and coaching and officiating sports. Most of all though, he loves spending time with his family!
Dr. Casey McLachlan was born and raised in Fargo, ND. Growing up on the north side of Fargo, Insight Dental’s location makes him feel right at home. Go Spartans! He attended North Dakota State University to earn his undergraduate degree and went on to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. After graduation, he moved back to Fargo and joined the Insight Dental team in July of 2018. He enjoys seeing familiar faces and making those “small world” connections with his patients.
Dr. Casey’s goal with each patient is to “take a tour” of the mouth to discover what treatment or education will be needed to ensure a happy and healthy smile. With dentistry making significant technological strives in recent years, Dr. Casey and Dr. Sandman are always teaming up to learn how to provide the best patient care with today’s advances.
In 2018, Dr. Casey married his high school sweetheart. His wife, Haley, is a North Fargo graduate who is a registered nurse at Sanford. When not in the office, he enjoys golfing, fishing, hiking, and spending time at the lake with family and friends.
