Pediatric Dental Care

Our team enjoys creating a positive experience with children while educating them on how to properly care for their teeth.

We establish a fun outlook on oral health and routine dental visits at the start, so your children will be equipped to keep their teeth healthy.

Planning your child’s dental care? Read some frequently asked questions below:

When should my child first come in for pediatric dentist services?

The earlier, the better. We recommend having your child come in around the age of three for their initial visit.

What will happen at my child’s first dental visit?

A comprehensive exam of the oral cavity – teeth, gum tissues, tongue.

At what age does my child need to be seeing the hygienist for cleanings?

Every child is different. However, we recommend the first cleaning be when the child is around the age of four.

What should I do if I notice that my child’s teeth aren’t developing properly?

Schedule an appointment. We may need to refer to a pediatric specialist.

Does my teenager need wisdom teeth removed?

More than likely, yes. Very few teenagers have enough space in their mouths to accommodate third molars. If this is the case with your child, a referral to the Oral Surgeon will be made or recommended.
